How Funky is Your Chicken?

This past Saturday our ward had a Trunk or Treat bonanza and Paige was the cutest chubby chicken you ever did see. It was pretty dang funny if you ask me. Something about a whole bunch of kids running around in crazy costumes on the biggest sugar high of their lives! Oh yeah.

My cute parents proud of the little hatchling.

"If I don't look at the camera maybe they won't notice I'm stealing more candy."

"Candy? What candy?"

Retiring to the coup.

I was kinda bummed they didn't make my size.

Duh, duh... Happy Birfday!

(The sign says Happy Birthday, in case you can't tell)

Yesterday was Patrick's Birthday (and my great friend Kelsey's - shout out to you!) and it was quite happenin'. We started the day off with a Fabulous Forbis Family Birthday dance fest - good times were had. Then Paige and I brought him lunch from Dilly's Deli ( a MUST for any Arizonian) and dined in with him at work. After the work day we had a birthday dinner complete with bday decorations with the famous "You are Special" plate. Then as I ran off to Young Women's he got to do some gaming... and we topped the night off with cake and ice cream! Whew! What a day... and what a MAN! Bare with the cheese, but I love you to death Patrick, and I am so grateful to be your wife! Happy Birthday Babe!

Camera Conniption

This is what happens whenever I try to take a picture with Paige around.

"May I please see the camera, Mother?"

"I SAID GIMMEE THAT DANG CAMERA NOWWWW!!!"

No joke. I'm lucky to get a shot now and then.

When I wake up in the morning...

Don't ask me why, but all of the sudden I just had this crazy remembrance of/hunkering for Saved By the Bell. Saved By the Bell!!! Who didn't/doesn't love our little Saved By the Bell?

Zack "ATTACK" Morris,

AC "sitting on a chair backwards" Slater,

Screech "obsessed with Lisa" Powers,

Kelly "who every little girl wanted to be and every little boy wanted to kiss" Kapowski,

Jessie "turned stripper (remember how scarring that was as a kid?)" Spano, and

Lisa "doing the one legged crutch dance" Turtle.

And let us not forget good ol' Mr. Belding. My Uncle Norm kind of looks like him and he used to tell us how kids would always stare and ask him if he was Mr. Belding-HA!

Anyways... good times. I remember we all had the trading cards, yes, TRADING CARDS, for Saved By the Bell. I always got too many Robo-Screeches and that bothered me. So many great episodes to teach us youngins how High School was really going to be like, and trips to Hawaii, and The College Years of course. Oh the memories! I salute you, Saved By the Bell!

Her Name is Lola

So I've been puppy hungry for the past little while and it finally got the best of me. Yup, Lola is our new little Cocker Spaniel puppy! She is a doll and has been so much fun! I feel a little odd having finally entered the animal kingdom's kingdom, but it's been a growing experience just in these few days and hey, I could always use one of those-ha!

On the LuvSac - her favorite spot

A nice wet kiss for them both

Paige's jealousy does tend to take over now and then...

No Time!

Sorry for my ignorance to my blog for all of you faithful followers (Chel). Haha, no but I haven't had any time to update since we've been landscaping our backyard by ourselves these past couple of weeks. Yikes! It has been quite the project! Anyways, here's a couple of pics from our trip to the Zoo in Boise to keep you pacified until I can go into further details! Enjoy!
