So we got these super cute boots on clearance at Old Navy the other day and Paige is OBSESSED. Seriously, it's like pulling teeth to get her to go without them, even for bath time. But hey, what's cuter than a naked little bum with boots?

Night Fright

For those of you who know me, yes, I'm pretty much a 10 year old trapped in a 23 year old's body. AKA - immature. Anyways, the other night I was totally hyper and annoying poor Patrick while he was trying to go to sleep. So I decided to end it by scaring him to death by taking his picture in the middle of the night. HAHAHA! He'll probably hate me for putting this on here, but the picture was WAY too funny not to share! Now that is a look of sheer terror!

Paige had a jolly good time last Saturday out in the front yard with the hose while we were trying to install some outdoor lights. I'm sure the neighbors loved seeing us all still in our jams at 4pm... ha!

Pete or Patrick?

Okay, I've had a few questions about the name of my husband... here's the scoop:

His birth given name is Patrick Ryan Forbis. Charming, eh? Well, when Patrick went off to good ol' Ricks College, one of his roommates names was also Patrick (the most fabulous Patrick Meegan, if you're wondering). It would have been quite confusing to have two Patricks running around the apartment, thus the name Pete was born. And truly, it suits him quite well. Well, after we got married, it seemed like a different name was necessary for every event and I never could know if I should use "Pete" or "Patrick". After a grueling night of self-debate (ha ha), I finally just made the decision to stick with Patrick all the time so I never had to confuse myself anymore. The jist: the names Pete and Patrick are both accepted and loved!

So this entails every venture to a store beginning with the loudest laugh/scream EVER (those who have heard it know exactly what I'm talking about) as soon as she sees one. Well, it being the holiday weekend and all, we decided to get her one just for being so great. Little did we know that a new best friend had been born...
